of Thiruvallam lays 6 kms from Trivandrum city meandering through
Kovalam. Thiruvallam is the juncture where the Killi and Karama
rivers meet and merge into each other. Thiruvallam is recognized
for its exciting canoe rides.

The Veli Tourist Village cuddled up between the Veli lagoon and
the flamboyant Arabian Sea is 8 kms away from Trivandrum city. A
narrow strip of sand separated the Veli lagoon from the vast Arabian
Sea. The Veli Tourist Village provides facilities for water sports.
There is also an 18-acre waterfront park with a floating bridge
that connects the village to the beach. Akkulam Boat Club (8 kms
from Trivandrum city) is a sought after site by picnic lovers. It
allows boating on the lake and has a children's park with a swimming
pool with cool clear waters.
